Despite a challenging period for weather and a quick turnaround in securing survey times, winter survey flights are already under way in two locations. The surveys will provide robust data on marine wildlife which will give Freja confidence that environmental impacts have been considered, and that the recommended mitigation measures will meet the requirements for development.

Freja have a commitment to environmentally friendly design and an open and exploratory mindset, which matches APEM’s data-driven approach to innovation and continuous improvement. And as Swedish offshore wind is still in its infancy, APEM will be able to provide best practice advice based on decades of experience, observation, and research in renewables throughout Europe and beyond.
