New Finance Director joins APEM

Nicola joined APEM in July 2019 taking on the role of Finance Director. She will be responsible for Finance, Business Support, Tenders and IT.  Nicola brings a wealth of financial experience and a proven track record of effective operational and strategic financial management.  She has an extensive background within private equity backed companies from a number of different sectors, helping them grow and deliver enhanced shareholder returns.

Nicola is joining the management team, consisting of new Chair Andy Lockwood, Managing Director Dr Adrian Williams and Director Dr Stuart Clough. She is ideally placed to provide guidance to APEM as it plans for an expansion of services and capacity going forward under the management buyout supported by WestBridge Capital earlier this year.

The deal has seen WestBridge invest £9.8 million in a combination of equity and loan notes, which will help drive the company’s growth ambitions as it develops complementary service lines to support its clients’ needs.
